Dr. Raman’s academic journey reflects his deep commitment to continuous learning and intellectual growth. He began his schooling at a Kendriya Vidyalaya, where he pursued his education in English medium and developed a strong foundation in academics. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science and Engineering from a private engineering college in Tamil Nadu, setting the stage for his lifelong engagement with technology and systems thinking.
Driven by a passion for management and interdisciplinary learning, he completed his MBA from a private institution in Chennai, followed by an MPhil from Alagappa University. To further enhance his understanding of the intersection between technology and business, he pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Software Marketing (PGDSM) from Pondicherry University. His pursuit of higher research culminated in a PhD from Pune University, where he deepened his expertise in information systems and related domains. He later completed his Postdoctoral research in Malaysia, further expanding his academic scope and global perspective.
Dr. Raman’s specialization spans Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Information Systems, with research interests that extend into multidisciplinary intersections where technology interacts with management, society, and emerging domains. His scholarly contributions reflect both depth and breadth, demonstrating a keen understanding of how modern technological systems shape and influence the world.
In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Raman holds several prestigious international roles. He serves as an Honorary Professor at Aston University, affiliated with the Aston India Centre for Applied Research in the College of Business and Social Sciences, United Kingdom. He is also a Visiting Professor at UCSI University, Malaysia, and an Advisor to DXN International Ltd.Alongside these roles, he currently serves as the Vice-Chancellor of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), where he continues to champion excellence in education and institutional development.
